Blank Card Magnetic
Blank Card Magnetic Adalah Kartu plastic PVC berwarna putih polos di sisi depan dan belakang, dan di sisi belakang ada tambahahan pita warna hitam dg ukuran (85,5 mm X 13mm).
Pita warna hitam inilah yang disebut Magnetic Stripe. Magnetic stripe pada kartu pvc ini bisa dibaca dan ditulis (R/W). Proses penulisan pada magnetic stripe ini disebut ENCODE. Untuk meng-encode bisa menggunakan alat Magnetic Stripe Encoder atau bisa juga memakai IDCard printer yg sudah ada modul Magnetic Encoder. Sedang untuk pembacaannya (READ) bisa memakai alat MCR (Magnetic Card Reader). Untuk cara pencetakan di IDcard printer sama dengan cara pencetakan memakai bahan kartu blank pvc.
Kartu magnetic terdiri dari 2 jenis yaitu jenis HiCo (High Coercivity) dan LoCo (Low Coercivity) dimana kualitas yang lebih baik adalah pada jenis Hi Co.

Blank Card PVC
Merupakan kartu plastik berwarna putih polos dengan material PVC yang mempunyai ukuran CR80 (85,5mm x 53,6mm) dan mempunyai ketebalan standard 30 mil. Kartu ini umumnya dipakai untuk bahan utama ID Card Printer semua merk seperti (Fargo, Zebra, Datacard, Evolis, Nisca, Hiti, Pointman, Edisecure, Polaroid dan lain-lain). Dalam memilih kartu ini harus memastikan bawah memiliki kwalitas standart ATM agar Printer ID Card Anda tidak mengalami masalah dikemudian hari.
Dalam perkembangannya sekarang ada beberapa macam jenis dari kartu ini mengikuti tingkat keamanan dan teknologi nya diantaranya telah memiliki Chip dan Magnetic Stripe, dengan kartu yang memiliki spesifikasi seperti ini anda dapat menggunakan kartu sebagai akses masuk ruangan atau yang biasa kita sebut Access Control.
